Our Trademark

FCK NZS is a registered trademark in the United Kingdom under number UK00004207744.

Our registration covers Class 25 and Class 35, which include clothing, footwear, headgear, and retail/online retail services for these products.

Why is it protected?

We registered the trademark to protect our shop’s identity and prevent impersonators from profiting off our name and work. We’ve been running FCK NZS since 2018, steadily building our catalogue of designs and donating part of our profits to antifascist and anti-racist causes.

The registration was done solely to safeguard our name, domain, and shop against fraud and bad-faith sellers — not to police or undermine other antifascist creators. We respect and support the wider community and only take action when someone clearly exploits our brand to mislead customers or profit from our work.

What is protected?

The trademark protects the name, logo, and brand FCK NZS as they appear in our distinctive design.
Specifically, the registered mark consists of the stylised wording FCK NZS in bold, white, capital letters, arranged over two lines on a black square background, with red horizontal rectangles placed above and below the square. The colours red, white, and black, as well as the configuration, stylisation, and layout of the mark as a whole, are claimed as elements of the trademark.

What does this mean?

You are not permitted to use our trademark — or anything confusingly similar — in connection with:

• clothing, footwear, or headgear (including designs, labels, and packaging), or

• any retail or online shop, or business that sells clothing, accessories, or related merchandise.

This includes unauthorised use of the name, the stylised logo, the colour scheme, and the distinctive layout on products, in advertising, as a shop name, social media handle, domain name, or in any other commercial context.

We also note that the trademark does not grant exclusive rights to the individual letters “F,” “C,” “K,” “N,” “Z,” and “S” apart from the mark as shown.
